
Linda Masarira, a Zimbabwean politician and human rights activist, died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 43.
She was known for her work in human rights activism and political advocacy in Zimbabwe, and served as a spokesperson for a smaller faction of the opposition MDC-T led by Thokozani Khupe. Masarira was also the founder and president of the Labor Economists and African Democrats (LEAD) and a member of the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD).
