KREC, the Russian rap band from Saint Petersburg, died on March 31, 2026, in a traffic collision.

Founded in 2001 by Fuze, the group was led by Artyom Andreyevich Brovkov, known by his stage name Fuze, as its main MC. KREC released its debut album, “Vtorzheniye” (“Invasion”), in 2002, followed by “Net volshebstva” in 2003 with support from Smoky Mo and the UmBriaco band.

The band’s music was associated with rap, hip hop, jazz-rap, acoustic rap and abstract rap.

Krec was a Russian rap-band from Saint Petersburg. The founder and main MC was Artyom Andreyevich Brovkov (Russian: Артём Андреевич Бровков) known by his stage name Fuze.
