Keyvan Khosrovani, the Iranian architect and lighting designer, died on September 4, 2026, aged 88.
Born in Tehran in 1938, he later studied architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, before completing a master’s degree at the University of Tehran in 1962 and pursuing fine art studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Khosrovani, who also worked as a fashion designer, lived in Paris from 1978 and was known for designing for Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi in the 1970s.
