Jun Hong Lu, the founder of the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door religious movement and a Chinese–Australian faith healer, died on November 10, 2021, aged 62.
Born in Shanghai on August 4, 1959, he was also known to followers as Master Lu and Richard Jun Hong Lu. He later moved to Australia, studied at the UNSW Business School, and became known for leading the movement that drew a wide following among Buddhist adherents while also facing criticism from some Buddhist organisations.
