Born in Vöcklabruck on April 25, 2002, she began her career with UVB Hinzenbach and won a championship in her hometown of Attnang-Puchheim at age 18. She took up ski jumping at 16 in Eisenerz and went on to make her international debut at the 2018 OPA Nordic Ski Games in Planica, where she placed sixth individually and third with the Austrian team.
In 2019, she finished 18th at the Summer Grand Prix and later won silver at the Austrian national Nordic combined championships. Bassani then focused on the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, where she finished eighth in the Gundersen individual event and earned another silver medal with the Austrian team.
