Ike Schab, an American Navy sailor and World War II veteran, died on December 20, 2025, at age 105.
Born Ira Schab in Chicago on July 4, 1920, he joined the United States Navy at 18. At age 21, he served aboard the USS Dobbin as a musician and sailor and was present during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, helping pass ammunition to anti-aircraft guns.
He was one of the last surviving servicemen from that attack.
