G. Kuyk, an American Air Force general, died on December 20, 2025, at the age of 99.

Charles Frederick Goodwyn Kuyk Jr. was a major-general in the United States Air Force and the named party in the Supreme Court case Poe v. Kuyk. Born in New York City on July 28, 1926, he attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in military science and a commission as a second lieutenant. He later received a master’s degree in international relations from The George Washington University and completed the Command and Staff School of the Naval War College and the Air War College. Kuyk enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in July 1944, received his pilot wings in 1951 and flew 32 combat missions with the 19th Bombardment Group on Okinawa during the Korean War.

Charles Frederick Goodwyn Kuyk Jr. (July 28, 1926 – December 20, 2025) was a major-general of the United States Air Force. He was also the named party in the Supreme Court Case Poe v. Kuyk.
