Ibrahim Adam, a Ghanaian animal scientist and politician, died on August 30, 2026.
He served as the member of parliament for the Choggo/Tishigu constituency in Ghana’s Northern Region from January 1997 to January 2001. Elected in the 1996 general election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, he represented the constituency in the 2nd Parliament of the 4th Republic and succeeded Ahaji Mohammed Haroon, also of the NDC.
Adam held a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agriculture and worked professionally as an animal scientist.
