Herbert A.
Donovan Jr., an American Episcopal cleric and administrator who served as bishop of Arkansas, died on November 2, 2025, at age 94. Born in Washington, D.C., on July 14, 1931, Donovan served in several high-level posts in the American Episcopal Church and administered Episcopal charities working in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Cuba.
He also advocated for women and LGBTQ people.
