Helmut Nadolski, a Polish musician, died on June 8, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born in Gdynia on October 27, 1942, he became known as a bassist, composer, poet, actor, performer and multimedia artist. In his early career he was linked to the Tricity jazz scene, and he studied at the Music School in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz.
He also worked with the To Tu cabaret and Jerzy Afanasjew’s Tralabomba circus at the Students’ Club Żak in the late 1950s. Later, with Andrzej Przybielski’s quartet, he won second prize at the 1969 Jazz on the Oder festival in Wrocław.
