Born in Treichville, Abidjan, on January 25, 1946, he became one of the leading figures of Côte d’Ivoire’s first television channel, RTI, where he presented and created several successful programs from the 1970s, including Variétoscope. He also served as a mission officer to the president of Côte d’Ivoire, and the super prize trophy at the RTI Music Awards was named in his honor.
