Born Fred Thomas Koury Jr., he competed in the NWA and NWF and was a prominent wrestling star in the Midwest United States and elsewhere during the 1960s and 1970s. The son of “Wild Bull” Curry, he was of Lebanese descent and was known for feuds with The Sheik.
He also teamed with Fritz von Erich in Texas and was recognized for his high-flying style and dropkicks.
