Evaristo Beccalossi, an Italian footballer who played for Brescia, Inter Milan and Sampdoria, died on May 6, 2026, of complications from a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was 69. A midfielder from Brescia, he began his career with his hometown club in 1972 and later spent most of his career at Inter Milan from 1978 to 1984.

With Inter, he won a Serie A title and a Coppa Italia, and he later played for Sampdoria, where he won another Coppa Italia. He also played for Monza, returned to Brescia and had later spells with Barletta and Pordenone.
