Didier Pillet dead at age 77, French journalist, editor-in-chief of Ouest-France

Didier Pillet, a French journalist and editor-in-chief of Ouest-France from 1991 to 2005, died on May 11, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born in Rouen on September 9, 1948, he was also editor-in-chief of La Provence from 1989 to 1991. From 2008 to 2010, he headed the southern division of Groupe Hersant Média.

Pillet died in Lagnes.
