Constantin Cojocariu, a Romanian rugby union player, died on March 7, 2026, at the age of 60.
He played as a lock and earned 40 caps for Romania between his debut in 1990 and his final appearance in 1996. Cojocariu scored two tries, for eight points in all, and was part of Romania’s squads for the 1991 and 1995 Rugby World Cups, appearing in six group matches without scoring.
He was also part of the side that beat France in Auch on May 24, 1990.
