Bryan Bergougnoux dead at age 43, Toulouse) and manager

Bryan Bergougnoux, the French football midfielder and manager known for his spells with Tours, Toulouse and Thonon Evian, died on May 29, 2026, at the age of 43.

Born in Lyon on January 12, 1983, he came through the youth system at Olympique Lyonnais and made his senior debut in a 2–0 defeat to Lens on July 28, 2001. After 36 matches for Lyon, in which he scored four goals, he moved to Toulouse in 2005 in a €3.5 million transfer on a four-year contract.

Bergougnoux later continued his career in French football as both a player and manager.
