Brandon Clarke, a Canadian–American basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies, died on May 11, 2026, at the age of 29.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on September 19, 1996, Clarke played college basketball for San Jose State and Gonzaga before being selected 21st overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2019 NBA draft and traded immediately to Memphis. He was a dual citizen of Canada and the United States and attended Desert Vista High School in Phoenix.
