Formed in October 1994, the group’s lineup included guitarists Chad Istvan and Josh Latshaw, vocalist Nat Gray, drummer Jared Shavelson, and bassists Chris Rakus and Robert Ehrenbrand. The band’s lyrics were politically driven, and its releases included early demo recordings, the 1996 EP This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice Is Being Born, and the 1997 album The Day the Sun Went Out.
BoySetsFire later released After the Eulogy in 1999 and toured with Snapcase and on the Vans Warped Tour.
