Asim Bukhari, a Pakistani television and film actor, died on March 12, 2026, at the age of 76.
Bukhari began his acting career with Pakistan Television in 1965 and appeared in more than 200 films. Among his best-known work were the drama Janjaal Pura and the popular series Sona Chandi.
He died in Lahore, and his son, Ajlal Bukhari, confirmed the news on social media.
