Arthur Tobin, an American politician and lawyer from Quincy, Massachusetts, died on January 16, 2026, at age 95.
He served on the Quincy City Council and in the Massachusetts legislature before being elected the 29th mayor of Quincy. After his time as mayor, he was appointed clerk magistrate of the Quincy District Court.
Tobin was born in Quincy on May 22, 1930, attended Quincy Public Schools and Quincy High School, graduated from Boston College, and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
