Zoya Boguslavskaya dead at age 102, Russian poet and writer

Zoya Boguslavskaya, a Russian poet and writer, died on May 14, 2026, at age 102.

Born in Moscow on April 16, 1924, she was a Soviet and Russian poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, critic and author. Boguslavskaya studied at the Moscow State Institute of Arts and the Institute of History of Art.

She was affiliated with the Association of Women Writers of Russia, the Russian Writers‘ Union, the Internal Association of Women Writers in Paris and the Russian Pen Centre. In 1964, she married poet Andrei Voznesensky.
