Yrondu Musavu-King dead at age 34, Le Mans, national team)

Yrondu Musavu-King, the Gabonese footballer who played for Boulogne, Le Mans and the national team, died on June 5, 2026.

He was 34. Born in Libreville on January 8, 1992, Musavu-King moved to France as a toddler and developed as a defender after joining SM Caen’s youth system in 2007 following spells with SC Hérouville and USON Mondeville.

He made his first-team debut in November 2012 in the Coupe de France and appeared in Ligue 2 six days later, beginning a professional career that started in 2012.
