Tahir Nikšić, a Bosnian actor and theatre artist, died on September 4, 2026, aged 76.
Born in Mostar on June 12, 1950, he began his stage career at the National Theatre Mostar before moving to Sarajevo, where he graduated from the College of Philosophy, department of acting, in 1975. He joined the Sarajevo National Theatre in 1974 and later served as its manager in 2000.
Over the course of his career, he appeared in numerous drama series and television films and performed in more than 100 theatre productions.
