Tadeusz Cichocki, a histologist, died on April 21, 2026, at the age of 89.
He was a Polish histologist and rector of the Medical Academy in Kraków from 1987 until 1990. Cichocki graduated from the Medical Academy in Kraków in 1960 and headed its Department of Histology from 1971 to 2007.
He was also a member of the International Board of Morphological Sciences and supervised two doctoral dissertations.
