Sofia Södergård, a Swedish dancer, choreographer, drag performer and actor, died on August 17, 2026, aged 39.
Born Hanna Sofia Charlotta Södergård Treichl in Selångers församling in Sundsvall, she trained in club and street dance in New York and later at Balettakademien in Stockholm and Stockholm University of the Arts. She was a co-founder of the dance company P*Fect, which worked with waacking and voguing, and came to wider attention for the performance work SLICK, in which she appeared as the drag king Qarl Qunt.
Södergård also worked across dance, theatre and musical productions, including choreography for projects by Familjen Kaos and productions at Dramaten and Den Nationale Scene.
