Seham Jalal, an Egyptian actress, died on June 2, 2026, at the age of 54.
Born Seham Saeed Galal in Cairo on January 7, 1972, she began her career in television commercials before moving into film with a minor role in the 1998 comedy Sa’edi fyl Gam’ah el Amrekeyyah. Her breakthrough came two years later when actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz invited her to appear opposite him in El Nems.
Jalal went on to work steadily in television dramas and became known to audiences for series including Ayna Qalbi and Hadd el Sekkeen. She also earned her first leading role in the film Al Ged’an. She remained active in the entertainment industry until 2018.
