Seham Galal, an Egyptian actress, died on June 2, 2026, at the age of 54.
Born in Cairo on January 7, 1972, she began her career in television commercials before moving into acting in 1998 with a small role in the comedy film Sa’edi fyl Gam’ah el Amrekeyyah. Her breakthrough came two years later when actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz invited her to appear in El Nems, and she went on to work steadily in film and television through 2018.
Among her better-known credits were the films Gawaz be-Qarar Gumhuri and Harb Atalia, as well as television roles in series including Ayna Qalbi and Hadd el Sekkeen. She later stepped away from acting in 2018 after professional disputes with producers.
