Rostyslav Chapiuk, a Ukrainian politician, died on March 8, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born in Rusiv on May 22, 1937, he served as a People’s Deputy of Ukraine from 1994 to 1998 as a member of the Peasant Party of Ukraine. He received the Order of the Badge of Honour in 1971 and was named an Honored Worker of Agriculture of Ukraine in 1997.
