Ronald Russell, an American Virgin Islander Olympic sprinter, died on May 6, 2026, at the age of 71.
Born in Frederiksted, U.S. Virgin Islands, on June 10, 1954, he represented the United States Virgin Islands in sprinting and competed in the 100 metres at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1984 Summer Olympics.
