Myktybek Abdyldayev, a Kyrgyz politician, died on June 8, 2026, at the age of 72.
Also known as Myktybek Yusupovich Abdyldayev, he was born on August 17, 1953, in Kara-Jygach in Chuy Oblast, then part of the Kirghiz SSR and now Kyrgyzstan. Abdyldayev studied philology at Kyrgyz State National University, later attended the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and became active in public service after working in a factory in Frunze.
He went on to serve in the Komsomol organization in Frunze and in Issyk-Kul Oblast, and was a member of the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan for the Bir Bol party. He was awarded the Order of Manas and the Order of the Commonwealth.
