Mohamed Hansal, an Algerian football referee, died on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born in Oran, French Algeria, on November 6, 1947, he refereed one match at the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy. Hansal died on the morning of March 8, 2026, and was buried later that day at Aïn El-Beïda Cemetery in Oran.
