Known also as Mickey James Guillory and Mickey J. Guillory, he served as a Democrat in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2003 to 2016.
Guillory was born on February 29, 1940, and attended Louisiana State University at Eunice and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He also graduated from the Louisiana Police Academy and worked as a state trooper with the Louisiana State Police. During his time in the House, he co-sponsored lifetime concealed carry gun permits in 2013. He died in Eunice.
