Known also as Michele Sensi-Contugi Ycaza, he was born in Italy on August 12, 1982, to an Italian father and an Ecuadorian mother. He served as Ecuador’s minister of government from April to August 2024 in the administration of Daniel Noboa.
He studied at Barry University, where he earned a degree in administration, and later completed a master’s degree in business administration at Nova Southeastern University. In 2008, he married fashion designer Stephany Hollihan Vásconez.
