Lu Kejian, a Chinese politician and deputy, died on January 12, 2026.
An ethnic Tibetan, he was born in Jonê County, Gansu province, China, in 1932. He began his political career as leader of Bairi Tibetan Autonomous County in his home province and later served as chairman of the People’s Congress of his home province.
Lu was also a delegate to the 7th, 8th, and 9th National People’s Congresses.
