
Jacoby & Meyers, the American law firm founded by Leonard Jacoby and Stephen Meyers, died on January 12, 2026.
Established in September 1972 as a partnership, the firm began in a storefront in the Van Nuys section of Los Angeles and later expanded during the 1980s to as many as 150 offices in Arizona, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. It became known as a pioneer of television advertising and for a business model aimed at serving middle-class clients.
The firm now has more than 300 attorneys practicing law in all 50 states.
