Kaka Mallam Yale, a Nigerian politician and senator, died on August 28, 2026, aged 73.
Born in January 1953 in Yale town of Konduga District, he represented Borno Central in the Senate after winning election in April 2007 on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party. Yale studied at the University of Maiduguri, where he earned a diploma in public administration and later a degree in political science.
Before entering the Senate, he worked in local government service and was appointed chairman of Konduga local government by the military regime in 1994. He later served as elected chairman of Konduga Local Government from 1999 to 2002 and held other state-level posts, including as sole administrator of the Borno Radio Television Corporation.
