DuBois, an American jurist and judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania since 1988, died on May 10, 2026, at age 95.

A native of Philadelphia, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1952 and received a Bachelor of Laws from Yale Law School in 1957. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and later was a law clerk in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Nominated by President Ronald Reagan, he was confirmed by the Senate in July 1988 and received his commission the following day. He assumed senior status in 2002 and remained in that role until his death.
