Operating mainly in the UK under the tag HELCH, he first drew wider attention in 2018 after altering the “give peas a chance” graffito on the Chalfont Viaduct over the M25 to read “give helch a break.” His work then appeared across walls and rooftops in London, often in increasingly ornate forms and varied colours, sometimes as a lone letter H and sometimes as part of broader slogans. BSMT, the art gallery he partnered with, confirmed his death the following day.
