Finlay Tarling, a Welsh racing cyclist, died on August 14, 2026, aged 19, following a traffic collision.

Tarling, born on 2 October 2006, rode for the UCI Continental team NSN Development Team and came from Ffos-y-ffin, Ceredigion, in west Wales. He gained results at junior and senior level, including silver medals in the team pursuit at the 2023 Junior European Track Championships and the Junior Chrono des Nations, and in 2024 he won team pursuit gold with Team Wales at the British Cycling National Track Championships, a silver medal in the British national junior time trial championship, and bronze in the junior team pursuit at the UEC European Track Championships.

He was the younger brother of Olympic cyclist Josh Tarling.
