Dimi Mavropoulos, the Cypriot rally driver, businessman and automobile collector known for his role in Cypriot rallying and the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum, died on August 29, 2026, aged 76.

Over more than four decades in the sport, he became one of the most prominent figures in Cypriot rallying, competing in events in Cyprus and abroad and collecting numerous victories and championship placings. He won the Cyprus Rally Championship in 1986 and 1988 and took the 1990 Cyprus Rally, then called the Rothmans International Cyprus Rally.

After retiring from competition, he devoted much of his time to historic and classic automobiles and founded the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum in Limassol.
