He was 59. Born on November 11, 1966, in La Tablada, Argentina, Strunz began his career in the band Heinkel, later renamed Jeriko, before moving through a succession of acts that included Hermética, Simbiosis and Malón.
He also worked on rehearsal spaces that were used by other bands in Buenos Aires’ metal scene, and his career stretched from 1991 until his death.
