Davis, an American criminal and member of the Manson Family, died on September 11, 2026, at age 83. Born Bruce McGregor Davis on October 5, 1942, in Monroe, Louisiana, he was later described as Charles Manson’s “right-hand man.” Davis also lived in Mobile, Alabama, attended Roane County High School in Kingston, Tennessee, where he edited his yearbook, and spent three years at the University of Tennessee before leaving because of poor grades.
In 1962, he hitchhiked to California, worked for a time as a barback at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, and later lived as a drifter while using cannabis and LSD regularly.
