Bob Simmons, an American football coach and former player, died June 9, 2026, at age 77.
Born in Livingston, Alabama, on June 13, 1948, he played and coached in college football after attending Bowling Green State University. Simmons served as head football coach at Oklahoma State University–Stillwater from 1995 to 2000, where he compiled a 30–38 record, and later was hired in 2013 as head football coach at Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado.
