Bill Saunderson, a Canadian politician and investment manager, died on February 24, 2026.
He was 92. Saunderson was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1995 to 1999 and served as a cabinet minister in the government of Mike Harris.
Born in Toronto on June 28, 1933, he founded Sceptre Investment Counsel in 1971. He was educated at the University of Trinity College at the University of Toronto, later received a PhD from the University of Ottawa in 1994, and had worked as an accountant with Clarkson and Gordon.
