Baek In-chun, a South Korean baseball player and manager, died on August 15, 2026, aged 83, after cardiac arrest from cerebral infarction.

He played for the Lotte Orions and Sammi Superstars and later managed the LG Twins, helping guide the club to its first KBO championship. Born in Wuxi, China, in 1942, Baek spent much of his career in Nippon Professional Baseball before returning to Korea to finish his playing days in the KBO League and move into managing.

He also held the KBO record for the highest batting average in a season.
