Andy Bishop dead at age 61, cancer

Andy Bishop, an American racing cyclist, died June 2, 2026, of cancer.

Born May 26, 1965, in Tucson, he competed as a professional rider from the United States and finished the Tour de France three times. One of his notable team results came in 1988, when he rode with PDM–Ultima–Concorde as part of the team classification winners.

He later won the Herald Sun Tour in 1995.
