Born in Wałbrzych on March 7, 1951, he trained at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw’s Białystok puppet theatre faculty and began his career in 1978. He was widely regarded as one of Poland’s leading puppeteers and spent many years teaching at the Białystok faculty.

Zaborski also appeared in theatre, film and television, and won broader recognition for his role as Henryk Wołkołycki, the police commander in Jacek Bromski’s “U Pana Boga za piecem” and later films in the series, while also taking parts in works by Wojciech Smarzowski and numerous supporting roles.
