Albert N.
Martin, an American Reformed Baptist minister, died on April 7, 2026, at the age of 91. Born Albert Newton Martin in Alexandria, Virginia, on April 11, 1934, he served as pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Montville, New Jersey, from 1962 to 2008.
He also taught for many years at the Trinity Ministerial Academy in Montville and wrote books on homiletics, including Preaching in the Holy Spirit (2011). Martin also wrote a three-volume Pastoral Theology based on lectures he delivered at the academy, and the work was translated into multiple languages, including Spanish.
