Ab DeMarco Jr., an American-born Canadian ice hockey player who skated in the National Hockey League and World Hockey Association during the 1970s, died June 21, 2026, at 77.

Born Albert Thomas DeMarco Jr. on February 27, 1949, in Cleveland, he was raised in North Bay, Ontario, and went on to play junior hockey for the Kitchener Rangers.

After representing Canada at the 1969 Ice Hockey World Championships, he signed with the New York Rangers, the team for which his father, Ab DeMarco Sr., had starred in the 1940s. DeMarco later played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Los Angeles Kings, and he was noted for a hard shot that was considered among the strongest in the sport.
