Trevor Bennett, a Canadian politician and Newfoundland MHA, died on May 5, 2026, at the age of 99.
Born on Sept. 3, 1926, in Daniel’s Harbour, Newfoundland, he served in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly for St.
Barbe from 1979 to 1982 as a member of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. Bennett was a businessman and lived in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, at the time of his death.
